Reset & R.I.S.E.

Reset & R.I.S.E. is a 12-week programme created to support individual wellbeing and gently build capacity for people living with fatigue-related conditions, including FND, Long Covid and ME/CFS.

Enquire directly to discuss whether the programme feels suitable for you and to confirm its current format, availability and cost.

Support alongside healthcare.

The programme supports wellbeing; it does not diagnose, medically treat or promise recovery from a fatigue-related condition. “Build capacity” does not mean overriding symptoms or following fixed increases in activity.

Living with fatigue and persistent symptoms

Chronic illness can affect far more than the body. There may be grief, uncertainty, lost roles, fear about the future, pressure from other people and the exhausting experience of not feeling believed. Those are valid themes for counselling.

Sureyya brings lived experience to the room, while staying clear that your diagnosis and medical management belong with qualified healthcare professionals. Support will not ask you to override symptoms, automatically increase activity or accept a psychological cause for a medical condition.

  • Make room for grief, fear and identity change
  • Explore guilt around rest and changing limits
  • Practise boundaries with family, work and care
  • Notice self-criticism without treating it as the cause of illness

For ME/CFS, the site’s health information follows NICE NG206, which describes person-led energy management as non-curative and advises against fixed incremental exercise programmes.
